Why we want to...
First and foremost, we pray because God loved us first. In His perfect, unconditional love, He gave us the capacity to love others deeply, freely, and without expectation. This kind of love, known in Scripture as "Agape" love, is sometimes translated as charity in older versions of the Bible. It's a selfless, sacrificial love that gives without seeking anything in return.
We pray because we can. Prayer is a gift, a divine invitation to speak with our Creator. And we pray because we believe it matters. Even when the answers don’t come in the way we expect, or within the time we hope, we know that God hears every word, every whisper, and every silent thought.
Intercession is simply praying on behalf of someone else. We do it because we understand that not everyone feels able to pray. Some don’t know how, some are weighed down by shame, some feel too broken to speak, and some just need someone to stand with them in faith. We are here for those people. When someone needs prayer, whatever the reason, we want to make it available.
We do not pray for recognition. We do not receive or want anything financially. We’re not here to profit or gain. We simply offer what we have, prayer, freely and with love.
If you feel led to give something in return, let it be your own prayer. That is more than enough. We’re not looking for anything more than the chance to stand in the gap for someone who needs it.
